FIR TREE HOUSE

Stylus Architects designed this new house to meet the clients’ aspirations of a contemporary dwelling with all the mod-cons. The designs include a sauna, swimming pool, open plan kitchen and dining area, grand entrance hall, double height master bedroom and green roofed terrace.

The designs were heavily influenced by Scandinavian architecture. One of the key features is the large glass oriel box window centered on the rear timber gable. This window bridges the master bedroom and mezzanine library spaces, creating a window seat that floats over the green room overlooking the large rear garden.

The building utilises natural materials such as cedar cladding and a cedam roof terrace. The minimalistic design language allows the building to fit seamlessly into its surroundings.
