CAMDEN HIGH STREET

Stylus Architects were commissioned by a private client to review a number of adjoining properties owned by the client along Camden High Street. The projects scope was to transform and maximise the potential of these street fronted properties.

Stylus Architects undertook a feasibility study to explore several options of regeneration to the High Street. The preferred scheme included a mix-use scheme comprising retailers, office space and residential units in one large building.

This scheme embodied a waved stone façade that follows he gradual arc of the street. The façade is split between two full height glazed screens with the corner screen creating a rotunda and entrance to the offices above. The building is capped off with a light glazed floor that is set back from the main façade, acting like a hat and completing the overall homogenous form.
